The lights grew dim as Josh offered his hand towards hers. Over the last 12 hours, the flood of emotions Valerie had felt ranged from calm excitement to eager anticipation. But now, in this moment, the only emotion she could feel was joy. Joy over the friends and family she’d spent the day with, joy over each aspect of the day coming together perfect, and joy over finally becoming Mrs. Starr. It didn’t seem right to keep all of that joy to themselves though, so as they spun onto the dance floor to welcome their guests to the evening’s festivities, both Valerie and Josh launched into a spirited dance that showed the entire ballroom the excitement they were both feeling in that very moment.

It felt like the entirety of fall was fighting on behalf of Valerie and Josh as the morning of their wedding day arrived. Winter’s cold winds and chilling temps tried their best to muscle their way in to spoil the wedding, but Fall was able to make one last push, resulting in a beautiful November wedding filled with color still on the trees and the softest of light throughout the day. Valerie and her bridesmaids were treated to their own private bridal suite, just one of the many lovely aspects of Venue Bella Giordata. While both Valerie and Josh spent the morning enjoying each moment to the fullest, the team at Best Day Details were hard at work preparing the grand ballroom for both an indoor ceremony and reception, in case the winter weather made one final push. Guests arrived in abundance, and soon, the curtains which hid her from the rest of the room were pulled back, revealing Valerie to the world as her father walked her down the aisle into the arms of her groom. A short yet sweet ceremony was enjoyed by all, and soon Valerie and Josh, with their bridal party following along, set out to explore the beautiful grounds of Bella Giordata. After a few short minutes with their friends, Valerie and Josh were blessed with some time alone to take in the day’s events. The reception was filled from the very first moments with an energy that lit up the entire room, as Valerie and Josh brought a charisma and charm that encouraged all to look forward to the night of celebration ahead. Little touches like their head table decor and bespoke gifts for their guests reminded everyone once again that this day was not only about Valerie and Josh; it was about two lives coming together and becoming one. With the special dances concluded and the lights lowered, welcoming everyone to the dance floor, Valerie and Josh stepped aside one last time for an evening portrait session specifically focused on capturing some of the most unique and favorite parts of their venue, before hurrying back to the dance floor so as to not miss one second of the party within.

Valerie and Josh, to put it quite simply, we adore you two. The ability to enjoy your own wedding day is not just a challenge for most couples, it’s an art. Every moment we spent with you was filled with a natural sense of belonging, and you so effortlessly extended and shared that sensation to everyone around you. You both balanced the importance and significance of the day with a levity and spirit that so many couples dream of having on their own wedding day. Even though our time with you has finally come an end, we will forever remember the laughs, the jokes, and the incredibly good times we had with you as both Valerie and Josh and now Mr. And Mrs. Starr!
