Sarah + David | A Morris Estate Engagement | Niles, MI

“Coincidences” seem to happen all around us. You may receive a text or a phone call from someone you were thinking about, or you may find out that something you wished for has actually already happened. But sometimes, the term “coincidence” simply can’t explain how perfectly arranged a moment can be. We recently experienced one of those moments during Sarah + David’s engagement shoot, as we traced back through the different people we both knew to a wedding back in 2021 that led us to this very evening!

Although David’s sister originally connected us with Sarah and David, these two quickly stole our hearts as we spent the evening at the same venue where their wedding will be happening later this year, The Morris Estate. We could almost see the session unfold into a story of two people, completely in love, visiting the place where they would soon say their vows and become husband and wife. One of our favorite moments of the evening was listening the Sarah and David discuss how the venue was going to look as they imagined what their wedding day would soon look like.

Sarah and David, looking back at all of the little pieces that had to fall into place for us to meet truly does make this engagement shoot special to us. You effortlessly walked the line of having fun while also learning what it feels like to be in front of the camera; and once we saw your gallery, we can almost imagine exactly what your wedding day is going to look like at the chapel.
