A Luxurious White Barn Wedding at Etre Farms | St. Joseph, MI | Regan + Tyler

As Detroit wedding photographers, some moments of a wedding celebration are etched in our minds, impossible to ever forget.  Regan and Tyler’s wedding was filled with some of the very best moments of their lives, moments that would never leave their memory. But this moment towards the end of the evening was something truly special. With the beautiful white barn in the background, Regan and Tyler strolled across the grounds of Etre Farms, with their dog, Ralphie, confidently in the lead. As the moon slowly rose over the scene, they took a final turn back towards their venue. They were finally ready to enter and experience hours more of a celebration solely focused on them, their love, and their beautiful story thus far.

The Morning at Etre

The morning of a white barn wedding day is much like the first chapter of a book; it sets the tone of the rest of the story. For Regan and Tyler, the first chapter of their wedding story was filled with relaxation and accommodation provided by the team at Etre Farms. While Regan and her girls enjoyed the morning preparations, the banquet hall was adorned with the lightest palette of blues and whites. The calming sea of florals which would soon welcome their family and friends into the reception. A quiet corner at Etre became a mini-studio as Regan slipped into her bespoke Rita Vinieris gown “Pixie,” a statement piece would continue to astonish guests throughout the day. After taking a ride across town on their own personal trolley, Tyler and the groomsmen spent quality time together at the chapel in downtown St. Joseph before guests began to arrive.

The Ceremony in Saint Joseph

As the moments counted down to her big reveal, Regan slipped into the church through the secret entrance. She quietly prepared for the moment she would be able to see Tyler for the first time all day and begin their new life together. The trip back to the venue felt like nothing now that they were able to ride back together, now as husband and wife. The grounds of Etre began to fill with expectant guests for cocktail hour, as Regan and Tyler stole away to the back of the venue for photos and a few quiet moments together. With appetizers and drinks passed around, guests struggled to think of how this afternoon could be any more stunning. They had no idea that they were about to be thoroughly blown away as they entered the grand ballroom. The Harringtons greeted the crowd amidst a shower of cheers and sparks, signaling to all that the evening’s excitement was just beginning.

The Reception

While dinner was served, Regan and Tyler planned for a special meeting with their fur baby. After celebrating with Ralphie, they ended their golden hour session under a shower of champagne and sunlight. Regan and her father opened the dance floor, bringing the crowd to a roar with their cheoreographed dance. It was not long before the entertainment team at Jelliefish productions had thoroughly filled the dance floor to the brim with the best beats, the craziest costumes, and the most elegant outfit change by both Regan and Tyler. And so, the final chapter of Regan and Tyler’s wedding day came to close; while the story of the Harringtons had only begun.

The Congratulations

Regan and Tyler, the beautiful stories that come out of your white barn wedding day will be told for years to come. From the tearful first look with Regan and her Dad, to Tyler’s iconic suit change for your dance party on the top floor, you both embodied what every couple desires from their wedding day. You displayed the ability to truly experience and live in each and every moment, from beginning to end. Even though our time with you has been short, we’ve seen this ability to experience life shine through both your engagement shoot in Detroit and now in your wedding photos at Etre. Experiencing life with each other is one of the dearest gifts that marriage brings, and we know that you both are going to love experiencing it to the fullest!
