Maddie and John | A Memory Filled, Lakeside Engagement Shoot | South Haven, MI

As the sun slowly set over the horizon, Maddie looked out to the water, and then back to the one she loved. It was as if she was reliving that beautiful moment all over again, the moment when John knelt down and asked her to be his wife. Even though the sandy shores of South Haven spread out all around them, it seemed as if John knew exactly where to take her. Suddenly he stopped, smiled, and turned back to look at Maddie. They had arrived, back to that same spot, the place where they had finally become fiancés. It was like living the moment all over again; but today, they had the added joy of being even closer to their wedding day!

Maddie and John, it was such a joy to experience your beautiful story so far through our journey through South Haven. We are still blown away that John still remembered the exact spot on the beach where he asked you to marry him, and watching you two retrace your steps was like taking a journey back through time. From stories about your trips throughout the years to the significance of the place on the beach where John proposed, you gave us a new and beautiful appreciation for this lovely little town, and an even greater excitement to see you two celebrate your wedding day soon!
