Before the ballad had even reached the first chorus, laughter began to emanate from the center of the dance floor as Tim began to spin Jenna around and around. Their guests watched lovingly, already aware that the life these two had just started would be marked by the joy and laughter they were now displaying on the checkered dance floor. The excitement of the wedding day simply couldn’t be contained anymore, and now that the pleasantries were finished, all present could tell that Jenna and Tim were eagerly awaiting the moment where they would be joined by all, excited to continue the celebration far into the evening.

The story of Jenna and Tim’s wedding day is a story marked by the depth of the beautiful emotions felt throughout. From the first moments of morning preparations, Jenna was the picture of grace as she lovingly spent the morning preparing and partying with her closest of friends. Jenna and Tim both bring an air of levity whenever they walk in the room, and that energy could be felt through the morning as they prepared for the day ahead. The morning light merrily danced through the hallways of Shepherd’s Hollow, reflecting off of Jenna’s beautiful wedding gown in all directions, a perfect homage of the beautiful spirit Jenna shares with all those she meets. Their first moments together were marked by not only the laughter they are so well known for, but also the softest of tears as the joyful reality of the day finally began to set in. The station at Shepherd’s Hollow stood in the center of the forest, as if pulled from the very pages of a fairytale. Perhaps it was the deer spotted leaping through the grounds moments before the ceremony or the perfect, cloudless weather for the ceremony, but this May afternoon felt almost hand-crafted specifically for Jenna and Tim’s story. The ceremony passed in the twinkling of an eye, and suddenly Jenna and Tim found themselves walking back down the aisle, this time as the newest Kanelos. Before joining cocktail hour, Jenna and Tim were whisked away to a nearby park to spend a few precious moments with their fur baby, Frankie. Many iconic moments filled the rest of the evening, from a grandiose champagne tower to Jenna racing through the venue, welcoming guests out onto the dance floor where they continued to celebrate late into the night.

Jenna and Tim, who would have thought that a chance meeting at your work all that time ago would culminate in this stunning wedding day. We still laugh every time we think of the story where wrong numbers were exchanged, and it’s amazing to think that because of that, this beautiful day may never have happened. Tim, your persistence in pursuing Jenna in spite of silly setbacks is the stuff that fairy tales are made of, and we are so grateful that you both finally came together as the newest Kanelos! We hope that this new life you have just begun creates even more laughter and more joy for the both of you, and these next years are going to be even better than the first.
