Haley and Logan | Engagement Shoot | Cincinnati, OH

The sun had fallen behind the buildings, and all that remained was a soft glow lighting the Cincinnati skyline. As they walked along the Ohio river, Haley and Logan reminisced on how they often spent time running the very path we stood on, making the location even more special than we had originally thought. The love they have for their city was evident as they talked about where Logan’s senior photos had taken place and even where Logan had proposed to Haley; but all that paled in comparison to the love they now showed for each other in the short time we were able to spend with them.

The temperatures were soaring on the hottest day of the year as we met up with Haley and Logan for the beginning of their engagement shoot. Many people would let this untimely circumstance cast their evening in a negative light, but Haley and Logan had some of the best attitudes we have ever seen and seamlessly rolled into their session. Our first stop at Ault Park literally felt like we had flown to Europe for their engagement session, only to immediately turn back around and fly back to Cincinnati just in time for the sunset over the Ohio River and the John A. Roebling bridge!

Haley and Logan, the second we found out that you two wanted to stay in your hometown for your portraits, we started dreaming of the beauty Cincinnati could bring to your portraits. In short, we were still not ready for the iconic city or iconic couple we were going to meet that night! Meeting not only you, but also Kiera and Oakley, made the trip even better, and we left feeling like we had just started getting to know new friends! Thankfully, we can look forward to seeing you all again next year on your wedding day!
