Grace and Carson | Engagement Shoot | Kellogg Manor House | Kalamazoo, MI

The stately grounds of the Kellogg Manor House felt familiar to them. Grace and Carson had often taken walks there throughout their years of dating, but tonight was different than those other evenings. Tonight was a night of celebration. As an homage to their story thus far, Grace and Carson wanted to spend their engagement shoot in the same places where they had grown to know and love each other. A stroll around the Kellogg Manor House and a walk through the fields at Asylum Lake perfectly bookended the evening, as Grace and Carson celebrated their love story so far, while still looking forward to the beauty waiting for them next year at their wedding!

Grace and Carson, the energy and life you both brought to your session had us talking almost the entire way home. From your first moments in front of the camera, you conveyed a sense of love that could not be contained, either by the afternoon heat of the sun or threat of rain towards the end of the evening. That ability to enjoy whatever life throws at you as long as you are with each other is something truly rare in this world, and we find ourselves thankful to have been witnesses of it during your engagement session. We are already counting down the days til we get to see you again, not only for your sister’s wedding, but also yours as well!
