Erin + Brett | Engagement | Grand Rapids, MI

Coffee grinders filled the air with both the sounds and smells of a well-prepared drink. As the four of us enjoyed the warm embrace of lattes and brewed coffee, plans for their wedding unfolded onto the table as Erin and Brett shared their vision for what would make their wedding day exactly what they wanted. This rendezvous in Grand Rapids was the perfect opportunity to address two issues at once: planning for the wedding and completing a mini-session for Erin and Brett’s “Save-the-Dates.” Although the wind whistled outside, the four of us simply laughed as we stepped out onto the streets of the Michigan city.

Erin and Brett, the excitement you both brought to your session seemed to fill your photos with a warmth that not even the sharpest wind could hinder. You both are stunning, and we are already imagining the beauty and love we will witness on your wedding day. We still remember walking away from your session thinking that we were so thankful this was just a mini-session, since that means we will be able to spend another evening with you two again, and this time in one of your favorite places.
