Brigitte + Jason | Refined, Destination Wedding | Shepherd’s Hollow Gold Club | Clarkston, MI

January 10, 2024

They had traded the “windy city” for a wooded glen, and they couldn’t have been happier about it. Standing there, in front of individuals who represented every aspect of their life, Brigitte and Jason were able to hold each other’s hands for the first time that day as they listened to the pastor share about love and life. While the stunning metal structure of Shepherd’s Hollow loomed above them, all eyes were instead focused on Brigitte, including her soon-to-be-husband’s. This was it, the beginning of the rest of their lives together.

The morning of Brigitte and Jason’s day was filled with what every wedding day should be filled with: time with friends and family. While Brigitte’s bridesmaids were pampered and prepped for the day ahead, Jason and his friends spent the morning at a local lake house, enjoying the morning relaxation before it was time to start getting ready. Meanwhile, the staff at Shepherd’s Hollow was hard at work, bringing Brigitte’s sophisticated reception design to life! Although the venue and reception spaces were already beautiful, they still could not hold a candle to Brigitte once she adorned her beautiful bridal gown as she prepared to see the love of her life.

Both family and friends walking into Brigitte and Jason’s wedding day felt like they were walking into a dream as the beautiful, sleek structure of Shepherd’s Hollow, standing in the midst of a wooded clearing, welcomed in the guests. The ceremony space, arrayed in blooms, created a perfect floral frame around the couple as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife. Although the setting sun held them to a tight schedule, the moments Brigitte and Jason were able to share for their portraits left us almost speechless. The romance continued as the grand hall of Shepherd’s Hollow echoed with the cheers of their guests as the couple began the evening’s festivities with a first dance that would rival even the most talented ballroom dancers.

Brigitte and Jason, saying “goodbye” is never easy for us, especially since your story and your life together has filled us with an incredible amount of joy. Seeing you both say “I do” after all the zoom calls and emails seemed to tie the perfect bow on top of this season of life, but we are still sorry to see it end. Please make sure to give Navy a huge hug for us, especially since we hope that this isn’t the end of our friendship but instead the beginning! Cheers to the newest Mr. and Mrs. Galazin!

All our best!
