Andi + Tommy | Engagement Shoot | St. Joseph, Michigan

They both grasped each other’s hands tightly as they began to descend the stony cliff. Waves crashing against the rocks made the entire scene feel as though Andi and Tommy had stepped out of Southwest Michigan and into a romantic novel. Instead of picking a random beach just for the sake of the scenery, Andi and Tommy already knew exactly where they wanted to go for their engagement photos: the place that possibly held the most meaning to them as a couple.

Spending the evening with not only Andi and Tommy, but also the Truvision film team was one of those experiences where you suddenly realize in the midst of the moment how truly special it is. After spending time getting to know each other as we strolled down the streets of St. Joseph, Michigan, we made our way to a pair of special beaches which were full of memories for Andi and Tommy. As the five of us braved the wind and waves, we were given a peek into what their wedding day would be like and we think it is safe to say that celebrating these two will be one of the easiest things we do next year.

Andi and Tommy, it’s not every day that we get the opportunity to spend time with two people who are so absolutely comfortable with each other. From watching you two traverse the harrowing rocks at your beach house to hearing the tiny whispers you shared to bring out the giggles, it is so apparent that you are both such genuine fans of each other. This evening with you all was truly one of our favorite evenings of the summer, and we are already counting down the days til we see you again; and this time, we will really get to celebrate!
