Their quiet stroll through the garden was the first “peaceful” moment of the day they could share together. The hustle and bustle of the day had finally subsided as Riley and Peter were able to spend a few moments together in the gardens not too far from where they had just become husband and wife. Peter slowly lifted Riley’s hand, softly placing a kiss on it. They knew that when they returned, the party would begin and they would be surrounded by those they loved. But for just this solitary moment, it was just the two of them, and frankly, that was more than enough.
Riley specifically chose the Kellogg Conference Center in Lansing as the location for their beautiful ceremony, along with many other vendors local to the Lansing area. The outdoor ceremony space shone with brilliance as a forecast which promised rain all week long decided to offer the couple the gift of beautiful sunlight throughout the day. The Kellogg’s close proximity to MSU allowed Riley and Peter the opportunity to use multiple beautiful locations for their portraits around the campus while still having plenty of time to dance the night away back in the Kellogg’s ballroom.
Riley and Peter, we found ourselves talking about you on the way home and how much we love seeing you two together. The little moments where you kiss or laugh with each other even when the cameras weren’t on so clearly display how you both aren’t putting on a show for those around you; you simply really love each other that much. We know that you both are going to be a shining example to the world of what a marriage filled with love is going to look like, and we are so thankful to have been a tiny part of your beautiful story!
All our best!
