Emma + Terrence | Romantic, Couple’s Session | Charleston, South Carolina

Even in the depths of winter, we always hold onto the hope that the sun will one day make its appearance. However, living in a place where the sun hardly shines for 3-4 months out of the year can eventually take its toll. It was in this state of mind that we prepared to travel to one of our favorite cities in the world, Charleston, South Carolina. Since we were longing for the sun, not only for its warmth but also for the beautiful light it brings to our portraits, we reached out to Instagram, hoping that we could make the absolute most of our trip. And thankfully, Emma and Terrence answered.

As soon as they stepped out of the car, we could tell that Emma and Terrence were the perfect fit for our vision for this “Charleston Rendezvous” session. The side streets of Charleston became their stage as the beautiful sunlight shone through the trees and bounced off of every surface, giving the whole evening an ethereal glow. From exploring the iconic Chalmer’s Street to strolling through downtown, Emma and Terrence made every second count, and by the end of the evening, these two only left us wanting more from their beautiful evening session.

Emma and Terrence, we normally use this section to share with our couples how excited we are that we will see them again soon at their wedding, but this time, it’s slightly bitter sweet because this is possibly goodbye. However, after thinking back on the evening with you two, we can’t help but be thankful for the beautiful time we were able to spend with you, and we are so looking forward to following the rest of your story and cheering you on as you take Charleston by storm!
