Julia and Chad  | A Refined Celebration in the Heart of the City | Wright and Co. | Detroit, MI

The smells and sounds of the city floated away under them as the elevator began to climb. Upon its arrival, the elevator doors opened to reveal the hidden gem of a restaurant, nestled in the upper floors of a loft which looked over the streets of downtown Detroit. A lone booth in the back corner with a stunning view of the city called to them; and as they slid into the space, it felt as though they were the only two people in the entire city. They knew that the rest of the evening lay before them, but with drinks in hand, Julia and Chad decided instead to spend a few solitary moments together, enjoying the romantic air that Wright and Co. offered its patrons before heading out for a night on the town.

Julia and Chad, we still remember ending our zoom call with you and hoping that we would get to spend not only your engagement session with you, but also your wedding day! From the first moments at Wright and Co, to ending the evening at the DIA, we can clearly see that you have such a beautiful vision for your lives together, and how that vision expressed itself so purely through your engagement shoot. Being able to enjoy both the large excitements and the little joys in life is a gift that so many strive for, and yet, we saw excitement in you from the beautiful architecture of the DIA to a cry of excitement at the idea of getting ice cream on the street. That excitement that you two have cannot be contained, and it already has us so excited to spend the day with you again on your wedding day!
