Kelsie and Trey | A Delicious Detour for an Engagement Session | Trivoli’s Tavern | Chicago, IL

The path to the Trivoli was an adventure in of itself, as the secluded alleyway opened up to a corner of the downtown Chicago that felt like it was transported from a tiny European city. Incandescent lights, dimmed for the evening, cast a warm glow over the scene. Kelsie and Trey slowly walked between tables with their drinks, enjoying a few free moments before the restaurant doors would open to allow the world to come inside. Nestled in the back corner, the booth called to them to take a romantic detour, a temporary pause in the middle of their engagement session. As they sat down, the sounds of the clamoring wait staff and the kitchen preparing for the dinner disappeared into the background along with the rest of the world, and for just a few sweet moments, it was just the two of them.

Kelsie and Trey, your engagement session had all of the elements of a Hollywood romance film, and we are here for it! Seeing such a unique part of your story brought to life in these portraits is inspiring to say the least, and we are beyond honored to have been shown such a special part of your story. You two brought both joy and class to the streets of Chicago, and we loved laughing with you over the tiniest of things (including that lovely confetti). Thank you for such a lovely evening in Chicago, we can’t wait to welcome you over to our side of the lake for your wedding next year!
