Intimate Downtown Chicago Rehearsal Dinner at the Drake Hotel

The candles had slowly faded throughout the evening, ending in the softest of glows: a perfect symbol of the investment of time and love Gabrielle and Jakob had already shared with their loved ones. The intimate gathering of friends and family provided a capstone to an already incredible week in Chicago, with the best still to come in the morning.

As they strolled through the hallways of the Drake hotel, the cheers of their guests could be heard in the distance. They had stepped outside for a quiet moment together, and as they entered back into the party, the allure of the magician pulled them in yet again for another of his marvelous mysteries. Magic had always been an intricate piece of their story, so it seemed only fitting for a master of magic to welcome them to their final event before the wedding day. Jakob’s parents welcomed all into the moment, sharing stories and well-wishes to the couple, encouraging all to enjoy everything the evening celebration had to offer.

However, as everyone mingled, a slight tension that filled the air as the anticipation for the next day slowly began to climb.
